This week’s TOPIC ANNOUNCEMENT should probably include a joke, but as a humourless feminist I can’t think of one, so reblog with your funniest jokes instead!

THIS WEEK: Women in Comedy

- Just in time for the first week of t

he Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Hoorah!

NEXT WEEK: How to find support/other feminists

- This has been a frequently asked question from a lot of our new followers, so hopefully we can give a few tips and spread a little feminist love and support.

THE WEEK AFTER: Prude-shaming

- Re-scheduled from a few weeks ago, and one of the most popular topics in our recent Facebook poll. If you haven’t seen our previous videos on slut-shaming check ‘em out here:http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL985AE0A129213B08

And that’s it for this week! Remember if you’d like to do a guest video on these or any other topic then check out full details how here: http://bit.ly/OJNKfV and let us know! - Becca x

[First image shows British comedian Josie Long, a white woman with short brown hair, standing against a white wall smiling at the camera. It was taken by Idil Sukan on Flickr

Second image shows a black and white illustration of a woman looking thoughtful with the caption “I’m a Feminist, now what?” I’ve seen this image around a lot but have no idea of the original source. If anyone knows it I’ll add it in here.

Third image is of ThosePeskyDames very own Jenn, a young white woman with red hair and sunglasses on, holding a cardboard protest sign reading “This virgin/whore dichotomy is getting pretty fucking old.” Photo was taken at Slutwalk London 2011.]

Happy Sunday everyone! Shall we do another TOPIC ANNOUNCEMENT then?

THIS WEEK: Women in Sport, because apparently there’s some big world sports day starting in four days time that’s making a lot of people very angry, excited, and a combination there of.

NEXT WEEK: ???? you tell us really. We’ll pick one of the most voted for topics from our Facebook poll at the end of next week, which means it’ll probably be gender stereotyping in toys and marketing for kids, BUT THAT COULD CHANGE.

THE WEEK AFTER: Women in Comedy, because it’s the start of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and our Facebook poll suggests it’s one of the topics you want us to cover anyway.

A few more options* have been added to the topic poll since we first put it up too, so even if you’ve already voted it’s worth having a second look.

And remember if you’d like to make a guest video about any of the topics here, in the poll, or any thing else then please let us know. - Becca x

Underneath each woman is their name, their Olympic sport, their height and their weight. Third image shows a white art deco question mark against a black background bordered by double white lines that cross in the corners.]

*I’ve removed a couple of topics that I thought were doubling up on ones already in the list, but if you see your topic missing and disagree please just let me know.
